Two-layer structure: common table + brand-specific details
For cross-chain analysis, use the 21-column standard.csv. For deep dives, use full.csv with every field in one file. Cafes get seating, Wi-Fi, and power outlets; parking lots get pricing, capacity, and payment methods — we never discard information by forcing it into a common format. Every store has a permanent ID that never changes, even when chains redesign their websites. Compare yesterday's file with today's by ID to detect openings, closings, and changes. Ever received a data file with no indication of when it was collected? Every row in LocationsDB includes last verified date, last changed date, and first seen date. New stores appear the day they're detected; removed stores are verified and excluded. You can verify data freshness, not just trust it.

Frequently asked questions
How do I compare daily files with previous versions?
Every row has our permanent store ID (ldb_id). Even if the chain redesigns their site, changes their store ID system, or renames the brand, the same store keeps the same ldb_id forever. Join files by ldb_id to detect new openings (IDs not in previous file), closings (IDs missing from current file), and attribute changes.
Where does the data come from? Is it legal to use?
We independently collect and structure factual information (locations, business hours, etc.) published on each chain's official website, every day. Factual store data is not copyrightable, and similar data sales businesses have operated for over 10 years. We do not resell third-party databases.
Can I use it commercially or embed it in my service?
Yes. Internal analysis, map displays, search results, analytical outputs — any use that doesn't constitute redistribution of the dataset itself is permitted. Only resale or redistribution of the raw dataset is prohibited (see terms of service).
Can I still use downloaded data after my contract ends?
Yes, you may continue using previously downloaded data for internal purposes after your contract ends. Only the daily updates stop.
Do you support invoice payment and qualified invoices?
Payment is primarily via Stripe card processing, but invoice payment for corporations is planned. Please inquire. Receipts are automatically issued upon payment.
What if the chain I need isn't covered?
Request it via the contact form. If the chain is eligible, we can add it as soon as the next day (chains with 10+ stores).
Does the API cost extra?
The API is usage-based: ¥0.01/request for single stores, ¥0.05 per 100 listed (max ¥0.5/request). Top up credits on your dashboard (from ¥1,000, valid 6 months). Hundreds of times cheaper than Google Places — a price made possible by being exclusive to data subscribers.
How does cancellation and auto-renewal work?
Monthly and annual plans auto-renew. You'll be charged on each renewal date (amount recalculated based on current store count). Cancel anytime from your dashboard — you keep access until the end of the paid period.
How are closed stores handled?
We detect stores that disappear from official websites during daily collection, verify, and remove them. CSV and API return only active stores by default. New store and closing notifications (email/webhook) are coming soon.
